WELCOME

We are a friendly Bowling Club situated to the west of Woking in Surrey, focussed on promoting enjoyment of the game for all our members. We offer the opportunity to play both recreational and competitive bowls in top quality facilities.  

 

The outdoor bowls season runs from April to September each year.    2026 is our centenary year and we played matches against teams from Bowls England and Bowls Surrey to celebrate the anniversary.  The club has had a successful season on the bowling green, with teams coming top of their zones/divisions in 7 out of the 11 leagues that we play in.  In national competitions, the Ladies Top Club team qualified for the finals held at Leamington and the men narrowly missed out on reaching Leamington in the Men's Top Club and in the Men's Double Rink.  A number of club players reached the England finals held at Leamington representing either the club or Surrey.​​

For beginners we offer free coaching to get you started from our team of qualified EBA coaches. We hold regular club nights on most Wednesday evenings and friendly matches against other clubs throughout the season.  For experienced bowlers we play in men's, ladies' and mixed leagues; our members can enter club, area, county and national competitions.

Between October and March we play short-mat bowls in the club house on Monday evenings and on Friday afternoons; we also play in a number of local short-mat leagues.
